From St.Louis to New York City

Jōvan Dansberry is originally from St.Louis , MO and received is Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. Based now in New York City, Jōvan is a performer, choreographer, and fitness instructor working in both the theatre and commercial sectors. TV and Corporate credits include: “POSE” on FX, The Tony Awards, “Dancing With The Stars”, MTV Video Music Awards, Swarovski, HERMES, Target, and NBC’s “Saturday Night LIVE!” Theatre credits include: Hairspray at Dallas Theater Center, Memphis at Riverside Theater, and Saturday Night Fever at North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly, MA. Jōvan was involved with the MetOpera Ballet for four seasons where he performed in several productions including: Figaro, Don Giovanni, Rigoletto, Guillem Tell, Tannhäuser, as well as making his soloists debut in Mary Zimmerman’s Rusalka. This Fall, Jōvan will be making is Broadway Debut in King Kong directed by Olivier Award-Winner, Drew McConie.
